Paul PollardPaul Pollard was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and studies at Georgia State University before receiving his B.S. in Bible and Greek from David Lipscomb College (now Lipscomb University). He earned the M.A. and the M.Th. (now the M.Div.) from the Harding University Graduate School of Religion (now Harding School of Theology). His graduate work included study at Oxford University and completion of his Ph.D. in New Testament studies at Baylor University. Following a time of study and mission work in England, he joined the Bible faculty of Harding University and taught Bible and Biblical Languages for the next forty years before retiring in 2014. He has published a number of scholarly papers and serves on the editorial board of Restoration Quarterly. He has preached extensively in the US and abroad. He and his wife, Sherry, have three children and seven grandchildren.
